Peltier Tech Chart Utility - Documentation

Installing the Utility

The Peltier Tech Utility is a standard Excel add-in, so it is installed following the standard add-in installation protocol. This protocol differs slightly among Excel versions.

Distribution Package

The Peltier Tech Utility is distributed in a zip file, PeltierTechUtility.zip, which contains the Excel add-in file PeltierTechUtility.xlam; the end user license agreement, PeltierTechUtilityEULA.txt; and a read-me file with installation and contact information, PeltierTechUtilityReadMe.txt.

Create a new directory for which you have read and write access permissions. The simplest is simply a subdirectory of your Documents (My Documents) folder, such as

    C:\Users\username\Documents\Peltier Tech (Windows)

or

    HD:Users:username:Documents:Peltier Tech (Mac)

where username is the name of your user account.

Unzip the files into this new folder.
