		<description>These smoothed XY charts have always reminded me of the Bézier curves offered in graphics programs. Every time I see one, I want to click on it and drag the corners around until the chart looks right.

There is a nice write-up at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bezier_curves. It includes an animated graph that shows what I&#039;m talking about: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:BezierInterpolation.gif. I suspect that this is how Excel draws the smoothed lines.</description>
