Microsoft MVPs Mike Alexander (DataPig Technologies) and Jon Peltier (Peltier Technical Services) are teaming up to host our second Excel Dashboard and Visualization Boot Camp! Last October’s event was a great success, and we’re looking forward to doing it again.
The Excel Dashboard and Visualization Bootcamp starts two weeks from today, on Wednesday, 20 May, and runs for three days through Friday, 22 May.

The topics presented during this boot camp will introduce you to advanced techniques that will help you build and manage better reporting mechanisms. Going beyond simple tables and charts, you will learn to:
- Synthesize data in meaningful reports
- Create dashboards that communicate and get noticed
- Create interactive dashboarding mechanisms
- Implement macro-charged reporting
- Automate the creation of PowerPoint
- Integrate external data into your reports
Register for the Excel Dashboard and Visualization Boot Camp.
Next Month’s Excel Training
If you can’t make it to Plano TX in May, join Bob Umlas and Jon Peltier in Atlantic City NJ, June 17-18, for the two-day Advanced Excel Conference that includes programming, charting, and automation.

This is our fourth consecutive year in Atlantic City for Excel Conferences, and it keeps getting better. Here are a few deadlines:
- Register with the hotel by May 17 to take advantage of our group rate of $99/night.
- Sign up for the conference by May 24 to get the early bird discount.
See the Advanced Excel Conference home page for details.

Great timing, because BonaVista just told me they’ll launch the 2009 dashboard competition within a few weeks.
Hurry up Amazon and get Mike Alexander’s book to me…
