The Winner!

Early this month, the DSA Insights blog announced the DSA Insights Post Project contest, soliciting blog posts in the areas of Business Intelligence, Data Visualization, Analytics, and similar topic areas. A few days later I wrote Changes to Charting in Excel 2007, decided it met the conditions for entry in the contest, and submitted my blog entry.
Today, the winners were announced. I’m pleased to say that my blog post on Excel 2007 charting has been named the winner. The fact that winners were chosen using the RANDBETWEEN worksheet function does not at all temper my excitement.

Jon, I thought you might appreciate the RANDBETWEEN function vs. drawing names out of my Red Sox (who swept the Brewers) hat. Thanks again for your participation!

Tony - Either would have been appropriate. I caught the last couple innings of yesterday’s game, when it was already almost out of reach. Though in Fenway, no game is ever truly out of reach: ask the 2004 Yankees.
